The Appeal
A new name, coil spring suspension and sharper, refreshed Peter Stevens styling signalled the arrival of a much sportier version of MG’s popular roadster. These final cars are generally better built and more structurally rigid and make excellent modern classics because they are so usable.
This 2003 135 makes many calls on your attention, starting with that special order, ‘Monogram’ range Orange Grove metallic paintwork. Then there is the very low mileage of under 23,000 miles, amassed by a single keeper in its 23 years.
The car is in very good condition and remains factory standard. In recent years it has been carefully dry stored in a controlled environment, which likely explains the standard or preservation. We history file shows that it was it has covered less than 1,500 miles since the last service when the cambelt and fuel pump were also changed. The car will be sold with a new MOT. A great chance to discover the final Longbridge MG in a colour as summery as summer itself.
The vendor says:
!It's a dream to drive lots of power and with the top down on a sunny day it's just the job.”
