The Appeal

Outside the rarified world of supercars, there’s a strong case to argue that an E46 M3 is really all any performance driver needs. More practical than a Porsche, more engaging than a RS3, the E46 arrived right in that sweet spot where technology assisted rather than overwhelming the driving experience.

It’s a surprisingly tough task finding a good E46 M3, whether you approach the issue from a specification standpoint or condition. The vendor spent some time tracking down this SMG gearbox car before adding it to his collection in June 2025.
