Highlights
- Low mileage of 59,420 miles
- Reliable BMW 3L straight six diesel engine
- Only four registered keepers
- Well-kept Vogue luxury interior
- Dry stored for over two years since last MOT
- Recommissioning project for the right buyer
The Appeal
Such is the sheer versatility and usability of the L322 Range Rover that it’s a surprise to still be discovering low-mileage examples like this one. Its handful of keepers have covered just 59,420 miles in its 22 years, and the condition reflects that. The Vogue specification grey leather cabin is well kept, and the paintwork shows only light signs of age.
The car has been off the road in dry storage for two years so will require some checks and recommissioning. We’re told that this will include attention to the brakes, suspension and hill control systems. There is also an area around the offside rear arch requiring repair, for which a useful replacement panel is included in the sale. The vendor tells us that despite the lack of use, once a new battery was fitted the engine fired up immediately. It is said to run well.
For those willing to invest the time, this looks to be a solid and worthwhile foundation for a very presentable low-mileage L322.
The vendor says:
“A very worthwhile and enjoyable project that appears fairly straightforward. I have too many cars and not enough time at the moment, hence I’m going to reluctantly let someone else have the pleasure of recommissioning this car and reaping the rewards. The car will make a very nice low-mileage L322 with the reliable BMW 3.0 diesel 6-cylinder engine. Upon receipt of funds being released from Escrow, I can assist with arranging transport anywhere in mainland UK, with the buyer separately paying the transport company upon receiving the vehicle.”
