The Appeal
The 996 was so capable, reliable and usable that it took the 911 into the supercar mainstream. For the same reasons, good cars are being valued by enthusiasts because they offer the sort of modern convenience not usually associated with the air-cooled cars.
The C4S is emerging as the ‘real world’ 996 to have. Channelling Turbo wide body aesthetics with the planted all-wheel drive system, these 320bhp cars are proper ‘cake and eat it’ modern classics. This car stands out with its Cobalt Blue paintwork, Aero kit and desirable manual box. It is highly specified, including carbon interior trim, Bose sound, PCM and bi-xenons. It is also a very low mileage car, with a handful of keepers covering less than 48,000 miles in its 22 years.
The vendor acquired the car in 2016 and has kept up to date with the servicing, as did the previous keepers. The service book shows 10 stamps to July 2024 at 47,359 miles. The work has been undertaken by main dealers and independent garages. The current MOT runs to July 2026.
