The 997.1-era Porsche 911 has always been admired by purists for its hydraulic steering and analogue driving dynamics. It’s also a fiendishly handsome car, particularly when specified in a color scheme that fully showcases its svelte lines. Described by its owner since 2021 as “well-maintained and tastefully enhanced”, this particular 997.1’s specification runs to the Sports Chrono Package, active suspension, a full black leather interior and a Bose sound system. Porsche aficionados might note the 997.2 rear light modules, which were an aftermarket addition alongside GT2-style front and rear bumpers, side skirts and the classic 911 ducktail. The bodywork has been accentuated with a professional stage 2 polish and a five-year ceramic coating, while the original black paint is in superb condition. 

A comprehensive programme of maintenance has encompassed replacement spark plugs and coil packs, front and rear brake discs/pads, replacement suspension arms and bushes, new engine mounts and coolant pipes/hoses. The engine bay is in exceptional condition, and so – considering the car’s mileage – are the bolstered black leather seats in a snug cabin featuring an immaculate fabric hood, carpets and door cards. The odometer shows just over 100,000 miles, and this car feels more than capable of going around the clock a second time.
