Land Rover and Benelli: two brands synonymous with the English countryside. The former, the 'Best 4x4xFar', and the latter some of the finest sporting guns money can buy.
Commissioned as a one-off "Benelli Sport" edition by Centurion, this 2008 90 XS TDCI Station Wagon celebrates the world-renowned Benelli Sport range of sporting shotguns. It has been comprehensively transformed inside and out, resulting in what the vendor describes as one of the most comprehensively specified Defenders available.
Inside, the cabin has been retrimmed in black leather with white stitching throughout, complemented by Alcantara door inserts bearing Benelli logos, a full suede headlining, and a nine-speaker Audison sound system with subwoofer and Pioneer DAB touchscreen head unit. Comprehensive sound-deadening has been applied to the floors, roof, doors, and sides. Externally, the upgrades are equally extensive: Optimill security hardware, Masai panoramic glazing, a full LED light conversion with Urban front bumper, Terrafirma protection accessories, gloss black saw tooth alloys, and a Zunsport front grille among many others. Mechanically, the 2.4 TDCI has received a Stage 2 remap with a larger intercooler and a three-inch custom exhaust, while Bilstein suspension and a large Bilstein steering damper have been fitted. Cruise control has also been added.
Serviced by U.K. Defenders in July 2026, with a new heavy-duty battery, fresh General Grabber tyres, and a chassis that was cleaned and recoated some 1,800 miles ago, this Defender is accompanied by service history, previous MOTs, and a Car Vertical HPI printout. A suite of Benelli Sport shooting accessories is included, along with the cherished registration 'G9 DFN'. It is fitted with both Datatag and Meta-Trak security systems.
