The Appeal
The 110 Doublecab is perhaps the most versatile of the Defender variants. It combines two rows of seating with an open load bed, offering the best attributes of a Station Wagon and a conventional Singlecab pickup in one package.
This 2009 example is commendably original throughout and sports a light patina commensurate with age. As the photographs show, it’s in very good shape for its age, having covered a mere 85,030 miles. The vendor informs us that the 110 has enjoyed an excellent service history, and we note that it comes with an MOT until February 2026. Recent work and preventative corrosion treatment to the chassis ensure this supremely usable Land Rover is ready for its next custodian.
