The Appeal
The success of the original Mk1 RS seems to have taken Ford by surprise. It rebooted the Rally Sport brand with a car that was much more than a mere showroom marketing magnet. Flush with that success, Ford set about making the Mk2 even better. They succeeded, delivering what many widely regard as one of the greatest road-going Fast Fords of all time.
The DA3-RS is so good that it can be tricky to find a good one because so many have been driven into the ground or altered with modifications. This 2010 car avoids both those pitfalls. Finished in classic Diamond White with black trim accents, it is a very low-mileage car in largely factory standard condition, with the desirable Collins Performance tuning and Mountune Airbox.
The vendor acquired the car in 2017 and tells us that it has always been dry stored and only used in good weather. That caring use is obvious from the photos of what is a very well kept car. The smart Dinamica/Performance Blue interior, which features the Lux Pack 2, is particularly well preserved, even in the usual high traffic areas.
