The Appeal
As quite possibly the last ever petrol-powered Jaguar coupe, the F-Type is a car to celebrate and one that feels like a fully fledged classic long before it qualifies as one by age. Good as the V8 is, for real-world driving where you’re counting the cost at the pump, it’s the 380bhp S V6 that you want.
This S is a very early launch-year car finished in a particularly compelling combination of Dark Sapphire blue with a plush ivory leather interior. The combination pops in our photos and is an antidote to the more common whites, blacks and silvers. The paint is offset by contrasting yellow callipers within the purposeful 20in SVR rims.
The car’s condition reflects its low mileage of 47,000 miles. MOT records and an impressive history file support this, showing regular servicing by Jaguar main dealers throughout the car’s life. The last service was in November 2025, around 3,000 miles ago. One month later, the car’s differential was fully rebuilt by a transmission specialist.
With a current advisory-free MOT to August 2027, this is a particularly tidy and well-specified F-Type and a great alternative to more common German rivals.
The vendor says:
“Fantastic looking with the SVR wheels and carbon ceramic brakes. It pulls well, is loud when you turn the exhaust on, and is a serious head turner.”
