The Appeal

Is it a car, is it a bike? Nope, it’s a Polaris, and it’s called a Slingshot because tucked behind the rear end is the company’s own 178hp 2L Prostar engine that can, quite literally, we expect, catapult you into the stratosphere in the time it takes onlookers to say “what the…?”

Those onlookers will certainly notice this 2020 Slingshot SL, which pairs vibrant electric blue paint with orange accents. As the SL model, it is built for comfort and style, but with 178hp on tap it is clearly no slouch. The 2L engine is paired with the versatile 5-speed Autodrive transmission.

We’re told this Prostar recently arrived in the UK from the UAE and is going through local registration and MSVA testing, which will be completed prior to sale. It has also been freshly serviced.

With just 12,500 miles on the odometer and a well-kept quilted two-tone interior, this is definitely one very different way to get from A to B.
