The Appeal

Is it a car, is it a bike? Nope, it’s a Polaris, and it’s called a Slingshot because beneath the rear end is the firm’s own 178bhp 2L Prostar engine that can, quite literally, we expect, catapult you into the stratosphere in the time it takes onlookers to utter ‘what the….?’

Those onlookers will certainly notice this 2020 Slingshot SL because it combines vibrant electric blue paintwork with orange highlights. As the SL model, it is built for comfort and style, but with that 178bhp on tap it is clearly no slouch. The 2L engine is mated to the versatile 5spd Autodrive gearbox.

We’re told that this Prostar has recently arrived in the UK from the UAE and is undergoing local registration and MSVA testing, which will be completed prior to sale. It has also been freshly serviced.

With just 12,500 miles on the clock and a well-kept quilted two-tone interior, this is definitely one very different way to get from A to B.
