The Appeal
The so-called “Rolls-Royce of motorcycles”, Brough Superior, rose to prominence during the inter-war years, breaking a raft of speed records and finding favour with the most illustrious pioneering motorcyclists, including British Army Officer T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia), who owned eight Broughs in all. The shift to wartime production in 1939 killed off the marque, but Brough Superior has made a recent resurgence under the control of vintage motorcycle enthusiast Mark Upham.
Limited to just 300 examples, the legendary SS100 moniker was revived for the 2021 model year, producing 300 very special bikes inspired by Brough’s past yet using the very best modern engineering, materials and manufacturing techniques. With a frame hewn from titanium and a 997cc V-twin offering 102 hp at 9,600 rpm, this is a seriously capable machine, not just an homage to Brough’s glory days.
This 2021 example has never been registered or ridden. It would be a fantastic addition to any collection.

The SS100 is simply breath-taking to behold; the attention to detail is simply exquisite. The factory allowed for customisation, and this bike has a polished finish to all components. It’s certainly one of the very finest-looking motorcycles of the modern era, combining the best of the old with the best of the new. The fuel tank is a nod to the original Broughs and is a real work of art.
As the motorcycle has never been ridden, it has not accrued any wear, corrosion or damage. The vendor assures us that it is in excellent ‘as-new’ condition.

We understand the Brough to be in running order, despite never having been used on the road. There’s no “blueing” to the exhaust pipes, and the tyres still have their manufacturing “whiskers”.
