- This 1970s Opel GT 1900 GT/ AL is "Authentic and Rare" in completely original condition. Imported directly from the USA as a first-owner vehicle from the original dealership.
(Same owner from 1971 to 2021, 50 years in the same family).
- 100% factory-correct (Creil-Chausson and Rüsselsheim).
- Original paint with patina, only superficial wear marks and beautifully maintained interior, like new, testament to remarkable use since the Sixties!! (Back then "Saturday Night Fever, like Tony Manero!! at the Odyssey. For some, the "Nostalgia" of Disco...).
- This GT 1900 Coupé will soon be back on French roads after necessary work currently underway. Ready for its MOT.
* History: Sold new in 1971, we have full traceability of its journey from the USA, always meticulously maintained, it features its magnificent original cream-coloured leatherette interior, extremely rare in this condition. 100% original, original new carpets!!!, as well as dashboard components, never touched, pristine condition, and the "Kadett-Opel" car radio and period speaker, still present and in working order.
- Mechanics: Regularly serviced back in the day, its restart is very sound with excellent driveability. (Just completed a full overhaul by an Opel GT specialist for thorough servicing following storage over the years).
- Bodywork: After 55 years, this Rüsselsheim factory car destined for the United States needs attention due to battery acid damage to the battery tray (really nothing major!!). Classic GT 1900 issue. We're doing everything to ensure it satisfies the next driver of this lovely GT 1900 Coupé.
