Charterhouse Auctioneers are pleased to offer this car for sale on the 19th August, from The Dave Angel Collection of Classic Cars, Automobilia and Spares, accumulated over many years from when Dave owned and ran the well known West country scrap yard, Angel Autos

Blue with a cream leather interior
Understood to be one of just 40 produced by Hooper Coachworks
The conversions were carried out by Hooper on the client's own car, usually new ex-factory, and to the customer's individual specification which could double the price of the car
All conversions were repainted using 12 coats of paint, modifications included electric windows, a sunroof, different tails lights (to incorporate reversing lights), an extra driving light, Capri by Hooper's sill plates and a burr walnut dash
The seats were re-trimmed in Connolly leather by Reutter, who later became Recaro
Dave has left the car pretty much as found, having given it a good clean and polish
The original Hooper paint of silver-blue can be seen under where some of the blue paint has flaked off
One of only a handful of these Ford Consul Capri's by Hooper exist and it is understood this is the only GT
Possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity for a Ford Collector
Some re-commissioning will be required due to lack of use
