The collection showcases everything from practical classics to high-end collector cars, all carefully curated and stored in purpose-built, climate-controlled storage hangars in Central South Africa's arid climate.
For overseas buyers, this is an opportunity to acquire classic cars that have never been exposed to salted roads and the damp European climate.
Shipping Logistics:
Pre-negotiated shipping via VA Auto Traders, a leading South African auto export agent;
For UK-based buyers, a pre-negotiated, containerised fixed-shipping quote of £1,189.00 for cars and £489.00 for motorbikes shipped from the forwarder’s depot in Paarl to the importer’s depot at London Gateway Port. (SA relocation and UK port fees excluded).

Highlights
- Attractive mint green with red interior colour combination
- In previous ownership for over 50 years
- Dry, rot-free survivor from Namibia's desert climate
- Rare 2L Essex V4 version of the Corsair
- Currently part of a large curated collection
The Appeal
The Corsair was a breath of fresh air when it arrived in 1963. Its V-point nose and tail fins hinted at the emerging jet age and were a stylish antidote to the identikit three-box saloons crowding the world’s high streets.
Today, those distinctive looks and its V4 engineering mean collectors, including the current keeper of this one, seek it out. It is a really tidy example with a nice specification including elevated Deluxe trim, Borg Warner auto box and the larger 2L V4 ‘Essex’ motor. We’re told that it has spent 50 years of its life with the same lady keeper enjoying the dry Namibian climate.
The vendor reports that the trim and brightwork are in lovely order throughout, complemented by what they describe as a striking colour combination. With so few Consul Corsairs remaining on the road, this appears to be a rare opportunity to acquire one in well-preserved condition.
