Highlights
- Completely original, unrestored Norton International 30
- Desirable 500cc International 30 model
- Only 2,000kms
The Appeal
The International 30’s nickname ‘Manx with Lights’ tells you all you need to know about this road going, race-derived flyer. It was closely related to Norton’s illustrious Isle of Man racers and highly priced by buyers in period. The 30 was fitted with Norton’s 500cc OHC engine, later Internationals featured smaller displacements.
This characterful 1948 International 30 was first registered in Horrues, Belgium and even retains its supplying dealer plaque. It is in lovely condition with light character to the fittings. We particularly like the hand-applied red pinstriping to the tank and gold-rimmed wheels. It would make a great addition to any period collection.
