Complete bodywork restoration in 2023
The most
The Triumph TR5 PI is one of the rarest and most sought-after TR models, combining the classic styling of the TR4 with much improved performance. This particular model represents the rare European fuel-injected configuration, delivering 150 bhp from its 2.5-litre in-line six-cylinder engine. Produced in just 2,947 examples during its brief career, this left-hand-drive version from the Belgian factory in Mechelen represents a valuable opportunity for collectors.
This model has been carefully restored to its original condition. The current owner acquired it in 2019 and immediately undertook extensive mechanical and interior refurbishment work by a Triumph specialist, at a cost in excess of €25,000. More recently, in 2023, the bodywork underwent a complete restoration, with a new paint finish in its original shade of Old English White.
For enthusiasts looking for a well-maintained and professionally restored example of this rare British sports car, this TR5 PI deserves special attention.IMG_1585 Vediaud Alexandre.jpeg6.68 MB
