Highlights
- Rare 2.6-litre straight-six petrol engine, highly sought after
- Full restoration, finished in the very desirable Land Rover Pastel Green
- Free-wheeling hubs
- Collector registration document
The heart of the matter
It’s a shame Land Rover didn’t fit its 2.6-litre straight-six to more models. The 109 Station Wagons in particular really benefit from this extra shove. So we’re delighted to present this 1980 example, equipped with an engine as rare as it is desirable.
According to the seller, this right-hand-drive version has undergone a complete restoration. The seller describes its mechanical condition as excellent: the engine, gearbox and axles have been maintained and are said to be perfectly functional.
Finished in Pastel Green, paired with a contrasting white roof and, according to the information provided, beige leather upholstery, this Land Rover offers a particularly convincing presentation for its age. The bodywork and paint are described as being in very good condition, with only a few light signs of use.
This restored 109 is a great opportunity for fans of these legendary British toughies.
