The Appeal
The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth was the 'blue-collar' poster car of the 1980s and '90s, combining everyday practicality with race-bred engineering. This homologation special was developed to dominate Group A touring car racing, featuring the distinctive "whale tail" rear spoiler and aggressive aerodynamic package that set it apart from standard Sierras.
Our 1986 example is registered in France and is presented in white with a grey interior. Having benefited from a significant engine rebuild in 2022, this RS Cosworth retains its original upholstery, which has been restored to factory condition, and rides on 17" Compomotive TH wheels, which complement its sporting character. With up-to-date maintenance and a valid Contrôle Technique until May 2027, this rare Ford performance icon is reportedly ready to be enjoyed.
