The Appeal
The Keswick Edition was a special-order model conceived by Aston Martin dealer Lancaster. Just 10 were built, split evenly between the Vantage coupe and convertible. Each car was notable for its very tasteful, elevated specification including Ferrari Nero Daytona Black paintwork, hand-stitched charcoal leather, aluminium trim and white dials.
This car is number six and it is in extremely good condition. It retains its Keswick Edition features, which are well presented and little-aged thanks to the very low mileage of under 53,000 miles. The history file shows a continuous run of 16 service stamps irrespective of mileage, plus a further service in August 2025. The work is a mix of main dealers and well-regarded specialists In recent years it has been looked after by Chiltern Aston and DB7.com. Prior to sale the vendor arranged for the underside to be fully Lanoguard protected. It carries MOT to July 2026.
With interest in DB7s buoyant, it is rare, well-specified, low mileage and well kept cars like this one that stand out.
The vendor says:
“A rare opportunity to own one of the rarest DB7 Vantages ever built, the Keswick Special, number 6 of 10. Finished in Ferrari Daytona Black with a bespoke interior, this car embodies the best of Aston Martin’s hand-crafted era: elegant, powerful, and timeless.
“Powered by the 5.9-litre V12 producing 420 bhp, the Keswick Special delivers effortless performance, a deep, resonant growl under acceleration and a surge of torque that makes every drive feel special. Fast, poised, and beautifully balanced, it’s a grand tourer that blends Aston Martin refinement with genuine sports-car pace.
“Lovingly cared for and maintained, garage-stored, well maintained, and used only for occasional fair-weather drives, ensuring it runs and drives exactly as an Aston Martin should.
Every element, from the hand-stitched leather cabin to the aluminium finish, speaks of craftsmanship and exclusivity. With only ten Keswick Special Editions produced, this is a collectable, appreciating modern classic that combines investment potential with real driving enjoyment.”
