The Appeal
The Series III E-Type marks the final chapter of the legendary Jaguar sports car lineage. Its smooth 5.3-litre V12 delivers effortless grand touring capability. The 2+2 variant, with its extended wheelbase and rear seats, adds welcome practicality without compromising the E-Type's presence.
This 1973 right-hand drive example is finished in Signal Red with a black leather interior. It carries French classic registration with verified matching chassis numbers. In 2019, it underwent a comprehensive service programme by Henri's Classics, Diksmuide, Belgium, including wet sanding and polishing of the paintwork, brake overhaul and carburettor servicing. Fresh Dunlop tyres were also fitted at this time. The seller describes the bodywork as very straight and considers this one of the most enjoyable E-Types to drive he has owned. He notes that whilst not concours condition, it remains a very fine car and a pleasure to drive.
