The Appeal
The Subaru Impreza P1, Prodrive One, represents the pinnacle of the first-generation Impreza's development for the British market. Commissioned by Subaru UK and built by Prodrive, the outfit behind Subaru's World Rally Championship campaigns, just 1,000 examples were produced, each based on the two-door WRX STi Type R and enhanced with bespoke suspension tuning, O.Z. Racing alloy wheels, Prodrive sport seats, and that unmistakable Sonic Blue livery. It remains one of the most collectable modern Subarus.
This example, number 874 of the 1,000-unit production run, has been in its current ownership for 13 years and shows 77,623 miles. The service history is documented through a stamped service booklet and a collection of maintenance invoices. The car has been enhanced with a number of considered upgrades, and recent work has included a service, rust repairs, a protective coating, and brake calliper restoration. The seller notes very minor bubbling on the passenger-side rear wheel arch, small scratches on the A- and C-pillars, and age-related interior wear.
