The Appeal
Where its rivals made do with natural aspiration, the Corsa VXR’s turbo punch provided excellent in-gear acceleration and almost unrivalled straight line speed. That it looked good too certainly helps.
With most VXRs having led a hard life, mainly because they are such fun to drive, this 2007 car is the definite exception. It is a one-keeper, low-mileage car that has clearly been cherished by its motor engineer owner. The service book shows 15 stamps, most recently in August 2026, with scheduled gearbox servicing and cambelt changes. The gearbox has also been rebuilt. The MOT history supports the sense of a cherished car too, showing just two advisories since the first test in 2010. The current test runs to August 2027 with no advisories.
The car’s low mileage and careful keeper mean that it presents very well in the photos. It is largely standard, save for some cosmetic upgrades listed below, plus upgraded brakes and suspension. It also has a quality remap that increases power from the standard 190bhp to 235bhp. The vendor says most of the original parts remain, so the buyer can easily return it to stock.
We know these pocket rockets are hugely popular. This is amongst the nicest available.
The vendor says
“This is my pride and joy. The car drives perfectly. Nice exhaust note. The best part was attending car shows and having so many compliments on how clean the vehicle was and how well it has been looked after.”
