Description
First registered August 1938 this is a Series ll Morris 8 4-door saloon that has been off the road for about 7 or so years. Purchased by the widowed owner (a friend of mine) for her late husband and on the road until his passing, then tucked away in their small barn. She has now decided to sell and I am assisting with the sale. The car is totally complete except for missing rear lamps, and it appears that semaphore trafficators were once fitted but are no longer there. The motor turns freely on the handle. It has just one Series ll Easicleen wheel fitted, the other 4 being Series l wires. The tyres have good tread and hold air. Interior trim is very good and complete and there are signs from inside of the sliding head, but the roof has at some time been fully covered over. The car has its starting handle and screw jack. The last photo shows the car as last on the road (gleaming) but the others are honest shots of the car as pulled from its hibernation, complete with dust and detritus. Probably just needs a good clean and some TLC to recommission.
