1988 Honda TLM 250 R Registration Number: N/ A Frame Number: TLM250 P8810020 The Honda TLM 250R was worthy heir to the famous Honda Trail TL, sporting a 256cc two stroke engine developing 17bhp, derived from the Spanish Montesa. The TLM series kicked off Honda’s foray into 2 stroke trail bikes. HRC racing bikes were later developed, and 2 stroke factory bikes appeared in the all Japan championship. These developments would lead to Honda returning to the world championship, taken by Masaya Yamamoto on a TLM250R in 1986. These bikes were exclusively produced for the Japanese home market, as such only a few of them arrived in Europe. This rare machine is lovely original condition and has been cherished as part of a small collection.
