M24 ERO was first Registered on the 4th of March 2002 as LF02 WFX and has since been in the hands of very careful owners who have covered a conservative distance. In December 2009, it was bought by a gentleman as a present to himself for his 40th birthday. Having had a good history of powerful cars, the Morgan Aero offered a huge difference in its uniqueness while retaining an extremely capable powerplant. Within his ownership he enjoyed some weekends away and notably LeMans twice, where onlookers took fondly to the car. The Morgan arrives with us having been recently MOT tested and has now covered 57000 miles from new.
The Morgan Aero 8 was unveiled as Morgans first ‘supercar' which was developed at BMWs L'Autodrome de Miramas. Under the bonnet of the Aero sits a more than capable 4. 4L BMW M62 V8 engine that puts the power through a 6-speed Getrag manual transmission. This drivetrain produces 286bhp and propels the car to 60 in just 4. 8 seconds while achieving a top speed of 160mph. With such an impressive performance package, the Eight competed in the FIA GT series in partnership with BMW reaping some serious attention from petrolheads around the world.
