Description
I'm selling this 1972 2CV6 in good condition (I'm the second owner and I have the previous registration document from 1974). The bodywork has been replaced and the chassis numbers are illegible – a common issue on 2CVs which I'll sort out. The MOT needs doing but the car won't move (it starts, the engine runs but coupled to a 2CV4 gearbox there's a clutch problem – you'll need to either refit the clutch and flywheel from the 435cc engine or find a 2CV6 gearbox. No rust, it's generally sound, it's been resprayed but with some imperfections. Lots of parts replaced. -New hood -New front brake master cylinder -New ignition coil, spark plugs and battery; the fuel tank has been replaced and I've fitted a low-pressure electric fuel pump (the old mechanical one is still in place). The 602 engine has already been overhauled. The carburettor on it is a single-barrel with an adaptor – you'll need to fit a twin-barrel. I've also changed the wiper motor but it's a new model so the wiring will need redoing, though it works. The interior trim isn't new but it's in good condition. Don't hesitate to contact me if you need more information. £2500 to negotiate on viewing.
