The Kreidler Florett Super 5 is one of the more esoteric motorcycles to emerge from the golden era of European mopeds. With its peppy performance and nimble handling, the Florett earned a devoted following that endures to this day.
Our Super 5 has been transformed into something truly special. In 2020, it underwent a comprehensive restoration, during which every component was stripped, sandblasted, and either renewed or refurbished. The frame was repainted to a high standard, and the centrepiece of the build is the extraordinary chrome work: over €5,500 worth, which gives this Florett a distinctive, show-quality presence. The vendor set out to create a real eye-catcher, and we're sure you'll agree that the result is stunning.
Mechanically, the engine was completely overhauled with a new piston, big end, bearings, seals, and gaskets. The vendor reports it starts on the first kick and that it brakes, shifts, and rides very well indeed. The electrical system, wiring harness, lighting, and ignition are said to be entirely new, as are the tyres, rims, and spokes, while the seat has been freshly reupholstered.
