BMW did a great job when they resurrected the Mini brand and with their engineering expertise they built a great little car, which not only was great to drive, but also to be in, with the very stylish and well equipped interior.
The Park Lane Cooper had a special metallic paint job and a more luxurious interior with leather seats which all makes it a very attractive Cooper edition to own and drive.
Inside the Park Lane cabin there’s leather sports seats with white piping, a two-tone sports leather steering wheel and the good news is that it’s all in very nice and clean condition.
There are a few signs of slight wear here and there inside, like the driver’s mat being a bit worn, but that’s all the bad news there is. The electrics are reported to all work as they should.
The Park Lane special edition came in one colour - Royal Grey metallic as well as Park Lane decals, a silver roof, 16-inch Bridge spoke alloy wheels and silver bonnet stripes. This all adds up to a very nice looking car overall, with a few small scars picked up over the years in supermarket car parks.
There are some stone chips, some light scratches and a few small dings but it still looks great, really standing out with its exclusive livery.
Tyres all look good and the wheels are more than presentable.
Everything is as it should be on this Mini Cooper, it’s been well maintained over the years and drives great and has been an absolute delight to own. In recent years the car has done very little mileage and its imminent replacement by a new electric Mini is the only reason it’s up for auction today.
A fabulous, one careful owner example of the excellent all-round Mini Cooper ready to drive away and enjoy.
