Description
Having never driven one of these cars before, we are pleased to report that it is a delight. This particular car was first registered in July 1991 and has had six owners. It has just been MOTd so there is a full year's MOT with the car, and there were no advisories. The car appears to be in good, sound order with good panel fit. The fibreglass body is in good order, although there are the usual age-related blemishes. The interior is nice and clean and tidy, with good leather seats and a well-fitting canvas hood which, for your information, takes only 15 seconds to put up or down - unlike our usual pre-war vehicles which take so long, it's usually stopped raining by the time the hood is up! Very good wheels and tyres. The engine starts easily and the car drives very nicely, with smooth engine and gearbox, and offers very god performance. As you would expect with a Lotus, the handling is very good. V5C, good history file with lots of old MOTs and receipts (not too many!). Advantageous price because we are looking for a quick sale.
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange for nice MGs or for other interesting classic cars, and can offer economic delivery to most parts of the UK.
