1976 Triumph TR6 For Sale
The Triumph TR6 was produced from 1969-1976. The first series of TR6's had a commission number which would be CC or CP. These letters would tell if the car was originally made with carburetors or if it came with fuel injection. US market vehicles all came with carburetors. Bodies of these vehicles were originally made in Liverpool then they were made in Canley. The TR6 was Triumph's best seller when production ended. Majority of these vehicles were exported to United States. Front and rear of these vehicles was designed by Karmann of Germany. All of the TR6's had a 2. 5 liter straight six engine with a four speed manual gearbox. Some vehicles were available with a electric overdrive. Brakes on these cars were power assisted with discs on the front and drums on the rear.
1976 Triumph TR6 Convertible. This Triumph has been sitting for many years. Exterior of the vehicle is British Racing Green and has a tan interior. As far as we know the engine and transmission are original to the vehicle. The engine is a 2. 5 liter and does turn freely by hand. This vehicle does not currently run. Has the factory power brakes with discs in the front and drums in the rear. This car does come with the soft top frame. Has all four matching wheels with the hub caps and beauty rings. Comes with a luggage rack. The radiator is missing.
The interior of the vehicle is complete but will require a restoration. Has the original bucket seats. The steering wheel is original to the car and the dash of the vehicle has all the gauges and has not been cut up. The glass is all there and there isn't any cracks or chips. Windows do wind up and down. Comes with a tonneau cover. There are also some miscellaneous parts and pieces that come with the car. Does have rust in the common TR6 locations.
