Affectionately known as 'Peggy', this little Metro was recently recommissioned after a 24 year slumber.
Only 2 previous owners and 27k miles. Loads of history including bills for work undertaken and previous MOT certificates back to 1990 plus the original book pack. Original dealer plates and rear window sticker.
Whilst the Targa Red paintwork looks better in the pictures than in the flesh, the interior is immaculate with grey cloth seats and a period Harvard (remember those !) radio cassette.
Recommissioning work included a full service, new petrol filter, overhaul of the brakes, new clutch, new waterpump and thermostat, plus a new MOT.
The hydragas suspension has also been pumped up to the requisite height.
As a result of all the work undertaken, the Metro drives really well and provides perky performance from its 1275 A plus engine.
I have also replaced the original TD metric wheels and tyres with a set of good 12 inch Minilite style wheels with matching Falcon tyres which I think really compliment the look of the car - the original metrics will come with the car upon sale.
