Group 4 Escort RS 1800 built in 1977 at Boreham as a works Car initially for Bjorn Waldegard. Registered STW130R in the UK and later as IZ 8320 in New Zealand, this car has true international pedigree. Finished 2nd Portugal Rally 1977, 1st Acropolis Rally 1977 and 3rd in the 1000 Lakes Rally 1977 all in the hands of Waldegard. 6th in the 1977 RAC Rally driven by Hamalainen and a DNF in the 1978 Mille Pistes Rally by Nicolas. Finished 3rd Motogard Rally New Zealand 1979 and 2nd Castrol Rally Australia in 1980 both driven by Ari Vatanen. Its final event by an international driver was a DNF in the 1980 Motogard Rally of New Zealand in the hands of Penti Arrikala. This car is in pristine condition with delivery k's only since being carefully restored and is now displaying the Rothmans livery when last driven by Ari Vatanen.
