This is a genuine Brooklands 280. It’s had a ground up restoration, Engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, fuel system, prop shaft, all fully overhauled. Bare metal glass out re spray. New panels where needed fitted, no patches. All new nuts and bolts. Seats re furbished in correct leather. New exhaust. Original stereo repaired, steering wheel re furbished, new front glass, new headlining Powder coated components, as close to a brand new 280 as you will get. I have spent 7 years doing this car, spent hours and hours sourcing NOS parts, or overhauled. The heater works on both speeds, all lights work, new carpets, starter and alternator re built, steering rack and pump overhauled, new fuel tank, accumulator, pump and injectors new, suspension genuine Bilstien, correct spec, all new brakes, dash overhauled, even comes with a Duran Duran tape,
I always wanted one but couldn’t afford one when they came out, I didn’t want a non restored one as they are always rotten, I wanted to build an as new one, the panels came from Express panels where needed, no patches, it now belongs in a museum it’s so good, the engine was overhauled by Connaught Engines and is perfect, all new, balanced crank and rods, bored, new pistons and cam, new oil pump, un leaded heads.
