Arriving next week, this is a genuinely lovely example of the BMW R65.
At 35 years young, and with only three previous owners from new, this R65 was acquired by it’s last owner around three years ago.
A significant history folder details the subsequent investment in the bike, from the ground up. A detailed log kept by the owner shows that the bike had everything from its frame being powder coated, to a complete refresh of the engine / clutch. There’s far too much to list here, but as you can see, the end result was certainly worth the effort. Upgrades include surefoot sidestand, crash bars, and lashings of stainless, including exhausts and pushrod tubes.
