Description

For sale is my 2002 '02' BMW 330Ci Clubsport in sought after Carbon Black, a colour in which only a handful of Clubsports were built in (typically in Estoril Blue, Velvet Blue or Titanium Silver). Originally supplied by Autohaus Netuschil in Germany, this enthusiast-owned example features a standout spec, rare upgrades, and a full service history dating back to new.

The car has a high specification from factory. It hosts features such as Harman Kardon, auto wipers and lights, xenon-headlights, folding mirrors, electric glass roof, automatic dual-zone air conditioning, sat nav, TV function ready, 6-CD changer and PDC.

Originally equipped with the SSG (sequential) automatic gearbox, the car has been professionally converted to a 6-speed manual by Spartan Automotive, one of the most popular manual-conversion specialists for these E46 models. The conversion has been done very well done and all relevant parts were changed at the time of the conversion (supported by an invoice).

The full interior has been upgraded to the incredibly rare M3 M Texture Alcantara, a complete interior swap from an E46 M3. I searched for a very long time before getting a hold of this interior and have not seen it pop up again. I believe only 60-odd vehicles were ordered with this interior from new so it really is 'rare as hens teeth'. Supporting the interior, a new steering wheel was fitted which was retrimmed by Royal Steering Wheels to extend the alcantara look.

The car currently sits on rare 19" Hartge Classic wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres, and comes with a full spare set of original (never refurbished) Style 71 Clubsport alloys with factory tyres — unused since 2003 (additional cost).

The car was also featured in BMW Car Magazine (July 2002) back in the day with a full three page article on the Clubsport model. Additionally, I have had the car rust-protected by Preserve & Protect in Johnstone, a specialist in underbody and cavity wax treatment. I only wash the car myself and it does not visit any scratch and shine car washes.

From a service history perspective, it is very comprehensive. The car has a mixture of BMW / BMW Specialist / consistently same local garage service history. Most recently, it had a full Inspection II service at Douglas Park BMW in Stirling, costing over £500, just a few weeks ago with a clean health check. I have owned the car since 2021 (I'm the third official owner) and have done below average miles in that time. There is a multitude of invoices available with the car to support its history.

It has been garaged throughout its life by both the previous owner and myself, and does not come out in any other weather than sunshine.

This is a difficult sale and I genuinely do not want to sell this car as it is easily one of the best, if not the best, Clubsport on the UK roads today but it does not get used and I simply cannot justify having it. I will miss getting a thumbs up every time I drive it though :)

Please note: private registration is not included in the sale.
