First registered on 14th January 1976 this beautiful Triumph Stag MK2 Automatic is a 'Matching Numbers' car and was fully restored at a cost of £14, 000 in 1999 by Triumph Stag specialist E J Ward of Leicester and was also the subject of a £4, 000 mechanical overhaul by Enginuity in London in December 2015.
Finished in White with Black vinyl trim and Black carpets, original Black mohair Soft Top, Body coloured Hard Top, Walnut Dashboard specially made by Rolls Royce woodwork restoration company, original 3. 0 litre V8 Engine, Borg Warner 3 Speed Automatic Transmission, reconditioned Power Steering rack, Stainless Steel Exhaust (lifetime guarantee), Electric Windows, Remote Alarm and it has the rare and optional Chrome Wire Wheels with new Tyres.
The car comes with its original Lex Mead of Basingstoke Handbook Pack and Triumph Handbook including a huge history file containing all MOT certificates from 1982 onwards, old V5 Registration Documents and invoices for restoration works and servicing over the years. It also has its original Lex Mead of Basingstoke rear window sticker on the hard top.
The car has now covered a genuine 71, 870 miles from new and has only had 4 former keepers with the previous owner having owned it for 30 years from 1986-2016 and the current owner purchased the car from us in March 2016.
It is MOT'd until March 2019 currently, but upon sale it will come with a new MOT plus our own customer care package including our HPI/ provenance Check and Certificate, 55-point pre-delivery inspection and 6 months mechanical breakdown Parts & Labour Warranty which can be upgraded and extended at additional cost if required.
