Merlyn MK 20/ 25. This stunning example competed in historic formula ford in the early 2000's and has HSCC papers as a MK 20. However it subsequently emerged that the car's chassis was upgraded in period to a very similar (but 1974) MK 25. As such the car is eligible for Classic Formula Ford in the UK whilst still qualifying for several Historic race series in Europe and further afield. Outwardly identical to a MK 20 car, its superbly prepared and absolutely ready to compete, having only been used in a handful of speed and hill climb events since its restoration about 6-8 years ago, it has also been completely rewired. Fitted with a strong IES Ford Kent engine and Hewland MK 8 gearbox. Good history file with all previous documentation (HSCC and FIA papers) present. A good buy at £19, 950.
