A very smart example with the essential overdrive, nicely finished in the iconic 70s colour, Aconite, with contrasting part-leather trim interior. First registered in January 1975, this one of the last chrome bumper models. The car is in very good condition throughout, having been extensively restored a number of years ago. (The car underwent a very thorough body and structural inspection in 2014, with only two new door skins being required, together with a refresh of the paintwork). Over the last 18 months, a lot of money has been spent on detailing the car, together with discreet improvements, resulting in a car which is not only very pleasing to look at, but very pleasing to drive. The underside of the car is good, including sills, castle sections etc and the upper body is excellent including the wing seams. The front and rear suspension have been rebuilt recently, as have the brakes. Wheels, tyres, battery and exhaust are all good, and the car starts easily and drives very well - good oil pressure, no overheating, good, responsive overdrive and excellent brakes. Inside, the leather seats, walnut dashboard and centre console, together with the wood-rimmed steering wheel and quality door cards and carpets have lifted the spec nicely, without spoiling the integrity of the car. Good history file covering the last two years, V5C. The car will come with new MOT. A very nice MGB indeed.
