Audi 100 Coupe S, 1970 for Sale. 12 Months MOT, UK registered but was a South African import (all taxes paid) a couple of years ago. It is in very good solid condition with no signs of rust. There are a few minor paint imperfections and one or two small things that could be improved such as that the air filter is not original, the rubber shrouds on the rear of the headlights are perished, the little plastic clips on the inboard sides of the sun visors are broken and such like, but these issues are minor in nature. It is immediately usable, has virtually new tyres, a brand new windscreen, new driveshaft CV joint boot rubbers all round and has been inspected throughout. I have driven it trouble free on longer journeys from Shropshire to Devon but it has had very little use since being imported really. It starts and runs nicely and everything works as it should. It is left hand drive and the headlights are continental so have beam adjusters fitted for the UK MOT. It would therefore also lend itself well to exportation to the continent and I am more than happy to help with this. I speak German too if this helps anyone. The clock says 22, 468 km and it is quite plausible that this could be correct. It was in a dry garage of a collector in South Africa and the black vinyl leatherette seats are in such good condition with no signs of wear at all. This is a great example of this super rare car which will no doubt just continue to rise in value so stands to be a very worthwhile investment. I will be sad to see it go but need the funds for another project.
Excitingly this car has now featured in the latest music video for Jack Savoretti - Candlelight. What a classic masterpiece of music. Jack Savoretti and Anna Jagodzinska make the car look even more awesome and we had an amazing trip taking it to Rome for the video shoot.
