Beschreibung
For sale, tidy 1983 VW golf GTI campaign.
Your chance to own an icon of the 1980's! I have owned this car for six months or so aftr buying from a friend. I have sorted some of the annoying issues and it is running sweet as a nut. The paintwork is great in Mars Red with a lovely patina.
Good points:
Its a golf GTI MK1 campaign
No rust whatsoever
Nice paint
Decent interior with fully working LEAKFREE sunroof
engine & gearbox run great
starts first time
immobilised
very recent full exhaust
new clutch
lowered 40mm
spax adjustables
refurbished black powder coated 14" P slot alloys.
cheap insurance
Bad Points:
No parcel shelf (or you can have a home made one my friend gave me, complete with 2 infinity speakers)
gearbox slight crunch on 2nd.
some scratches etc. as to be expected on a car of this age.
Selling to due to marital issues - wife wants me to get a more modern & safer car! Sad to see it go.
