Exterior Features
This Golf GTI mk2 has had a range of style enhancements to the standard spec. The paint work has no rust and aside from some small dents, is in very good condition for the age of the vehicle. The front and rear small bumpers, handles and front grille all have chrome detailing and the rear tailgate boasts a heckblende reflective plate which is a rare feature.
Wheels & Tyres
The GTI features 15” Wolfrace polished and silver alloy wheels with Nankang stretched tyres. All four wheels are in great condition and the tyres have a good amount of tread depth remaining.
Interior Components
The interior of the Golf is in good condition and features a wooden Nardi steering wheel. All components are fully working including the stereo and heaters. This is a non-Power-assisted-steering model and aside from a small rip in the driver's bolster the interior is in very good condition. The headlining material does need replacing which is a service we can carry out and provide a quote for in house at UKD.
Mechanics
The brakes have been upgraded on this VW to MK4 golf rear callipers and 'GreenStuff' pads. The more modernised brakes provide a shorter stopping distance. The suspension has been updated with coil-overs to give the GTI a lower and more sporty appearance. Mechanically the Golf is very good and everything works as it should.
Service & Maintenance History
The vehicle has service receipts present and previous MOT certificates. The vehicle is also HPI clear. The Golf comes with a 3 month warranty and the current MOT is valid until August 2019.
