1981 Delorean DMC 12, 11 months MOT, Black interior, automatic. I have the U. S. title (US V5) in my name, and a clean car fax report. I imported the car in 2018 and it is on the NOVA system with all EU / UK import tax and VAT paid, ready to be registered in your name, or if the car is being exported outside of the EU and certain conditions are met, it can be zero VAT rated. £29, 200 + Vat within the EU. If you are registering the car in the uk, it is a simple process and the cost is £55 plus road tax. I am very happy to help with / arrange this for you, and you will be the first uk owner on the V5.
The good: This car has a very nice original interior, the seats are nice and supple, and there are no cracks in the original dash dash or the original binnacle. The original clock was away for repair when the pictures were taken and has now been reinstalled. The original craig radio and its display work, I did manage to find a tape cassette to try and this works as well. The A/ C is cold and the hvac works as it should. Front and rear fascias are in good shape and even show original tape marks from shipping back in 1981. The only thing I could find that didn't work was the trip reset button, it has broken off, I was still able to reset the trip with a tooth pick, replacement new original stock trip reset buttons are available. I recently completed a 200 mile round trip with no issues. The car is nice to drive with no clonks bangs squeaks or rattles, and brings a smile to many peoples faces.
Some areas of improvement: Advisory on the Mot was play in the steering rack, as Deloreans have no power steering, the rebuild price is inexpensive at £120. there are a number of small dents on the bonnet (I can send pictures) price for repair of the 9 small dents on the bonnet is £250.
Parts availability is very good, cheap and easy to obtain from suppliers in the UK the EU and the U. S. as well as your local motor factors! Keep in mind the car is now 37 years old, and as such, it is sold as it is, where it is.
