We have just removed this motorcycle today from the garage of the original owner a Mr Alan S, the Velocette is a 100% genuine 1958 machine of its day, Alan said that he last used the bike in 2009/ 10 / 9 years ago, There are some old Mots and a tax disc as can be seen on the bike, Alan stopped riding when he was 70 years of age.
I have been assured the motorcycle was running perfectly until the day he stopped riding the Velo 500cc Café Racer Clubmans.
100% not seized, lots of engine compression on kickstart.
With close inspection i cannot see any reason why the 58 Velocette will not start with a little amount of work and dusting down, with a gentle recommission to bring back to life i. e fresh oils / fuels / and a carb clean out.
