Correct numbers as when the bike left the Yamaha factory.
This is a rare early 1969 Yamaha two stroke 249cc Twin that was only made for one year in 69 that is a sound and very original machine only made for the USA market. The fuel tank paintwork has been professionally painted in the correct deep metallic emerald green ( Beautifully painted ) but apart from that it doesn't look to have been got at particularly ( Very original and unmolested machine ) It starts and runs and sounds very fresh, and still has it's original engine fitted which is always a good sign. this Yamaha has recently been UK registered and is ready to ride and enjoy for the summer.
The bike will also come with the original Yamaha key and original owners handbook which is like new.
Classed as HISTORIC VEHICLE hence mot and tax exempt.
Also cheap on insurance.
