1971 BENTLEY T1
This absolutely stunning Bentley T1 has just arrived in stock with us this week. Finished in one of the best colour combinations available in my opinion of regal red with a black leather interior.
The T1 is an incredibly rare car as there were ten times as many silver shadow 1’s built than t1’s (circa 17000 as opposed to 1700 t1’s) .
There are only a handful of t1’s offered for sale on the open market today and this car represents an absolutely wonderful opportunity to purchase a car at an extremely affordable price.
It has had only 3 owners from new and has remained in the same family for over 30 years. It has been well maintained in recent years, having had an annual MOT even though it doesn’t require one due to being over 40 years of age. All the MOT requirements have also been met before an MOT has been issued and various invoices are present to substantiate this.
This is a very presentable, usable car that would require minor cosmetic attention were you to want a “perfect” car; there is a heavy touch in on the nearside front wheel arch where the paint has been chipped/ marked, there is a small patch required below the rear bumper which will need paint (approx 3 inches square) , the leather interior has some general wear marks which would benefit from recolouring and some of the lacquer on the dashboard has delaminated slightly. The rear picnic tables are in wonderful condition.
