The Lamborghini Diablo is a car produced in about 2900 units between 1990 and 2001.
The Diablo immediately expresses remarkable performances. Shoot from 0 to 100 km/ h in just 4. 09 seconds reaching a top speed of 325 km/ h, the highest until then recorded for a standard car. The body of the car was made of various materials: steel for the roof was used, aluminum for the doors, for the front wheel arches and for the rear sills, while carbon fiber and resins were used for the front-rear spoilers, for the bonnets and for the under-port bands. Also the rear wing on request was made of carbon fiber and painted in the body color. Lamborghini also decided to design an efficient electronic fuel injection system that replaced the Weber dual-body carburetor battery mounted on the 12-cylinder Countach.
In 1993, to meet the growing expectations of customers, the Diablo VT was born, which among its various innovations is equipped with four-wheel drive, thus making the first four-wheel drive supercar.
