Volkswagen Golf Mk1 1. 8 GTI, 1983. Meticulously Rebuilt Example. The car has been finished to an incredible standard throughout and has covered only 3, 000 (approx.) miles since being rebuilt. fabulous Lhasa Green metallic with original black pinstripe interior which is in fabulous condition. This example is in absolutely pristine condition throughout with its original manual sunroof and Blaupunkt stereo cassette player still intact. This example is as good underneath as it is all round. Fantastic new brakes and suspension, all fitted within the last 3, 000 miles. The paintwork is in showroom condition as is everything else about this fine vehicle. As new “tarantula” alloy wheels as well as set of chrome BBS alloys should you prefer. Single headlamp grille with the red stripe. This GTI is in potential show-winning condition and needs nothing doing to it. We used to buy and sell Golf GTi’s in the mid-Eighties when they were just a year old and this is reminiscent of that time. We have sold many since then and this is absolutely the best one we have seen. Lovely history file with over 20 old MOT certificates etc. Will come with a full MOT and service.
