Finished in impala metallic with cream leather interior and brown soft-top.
Factory specification includes cruise control, rear seats, hard-top, headlamp wash wipe, illuminating vanity mirrors, fire extinguisher, 15-hole alloy wheels and an original Blaupunkt Montreal radio.
Sold new by J R Newland Motors Ltd of Swansea on 25th March 1988 to a local Mr S Jones. The original service book shows that the running in service was carried out by the suppling main dealer and just a few months later the vehicle was sold M-B main agent Sunningdale Carriage Co Ltd to a Mr J Beacham of West Byfleet. Mr Beacham retained the car for over 13 years. In his ownership the car was always returned to Sunningdale for servicing and the booklet contains 11 stamps from 1990-2001. The next owner a, Mr R Fisher residing in London purchased the car from a London specialist garage on 13th September 2002, at which point it had covered just 31, 800 miles. The last owner purchased the car from the same London dealership on 5th April 2008, now having covered 57, 400 miles. Since then servicing has been carried out by either specialist or Mercedes-Benz main dealers. During this ownership period of over 11 years it has been clearly cherished and was only sold to ourselves because of a young family resulting in lack of use.
