If you are looking for a Golf Mk2 which is comfortable and has extra comfort options, however with a lower price tag, the GL is the perfect combination of a responsive 1800cc engine and the added luxury of the 5-speed gear box for extra economy.
4+E 5-SPEED GEARBOX
With many of the Golf Mk2 models having only 4 gears, the GL 4+E has the extra speed for extra economy on longer distances.

EXTERIOR BODY
First registered in 1991, this example of the Golf GL features the well known 'big bumpers'. This example boasts the VW factory paint colour 'Calypso Green' which was an additional cost on the original bill of sale included with the vehicle. The bodywork is in fantastic condition.
WHEELS & TYRES
The GL has 14" BBS alloy wheels which are free from any scuffs or marks and all four tyres are matching. The wheels complete the look of the retro 90's hatchback beautifully.
INTERIOR COMPONENTS
The interior of the Volkswagen is in great condition. The seats are grey velour and the interior upholstery including the headlining, carpet and door-cards are excellent. The interior components work exactly as they should including a period AM/ FM stereo.
MECHANICS
The Golf has been renouned over the years for reliability and solid German engineering. This stunning example is no exception! Having been cared for brilliantly, lots of parts have recently been replaced and the current MOT certificate is valid until April this year and the last owner has brought the vehicle to UKD for service work for the past year. All of our vehicles undergo our in-house full safety and mechanical inspection and this vehicle will 3 month warranty.
SERVICE & MAINTENANCE HISTORY
UKD carried out a full service and timing belt replacement in May 2018 and the vehicle has covered less than 300 miles since this time. There are service receipts present with the vehicle as well as previous MOT certificates with the Golf verifying the low mileage. The original invoice for the Golf from 'Listers of Coventry' with all specification options is with the documentation, as well as the original matching dealer registration plates. There is also a spare key.
DRIVE & COMFORT
The GL 1. 8 4+E is rarely seen and in such a beautiful condition, this vehicle is an absolute pleasure to own and drive. The more economical alternative to the Golf GTI. A great reliable daily vehicle or an investable weekend car, the Golf is versatile and a treat to take out on the road!
